Not all oaks grow at the same speed. Here are the varieties we currently have in stock, plus their rates of growth:

Fast: 1.5–3 ft/year when young

Moderate: 1-2 ft/year

We offer delivery and planting for any size tree, but if you're feeling hands-on, our veteran tree planter Steve shares a neat trick for dealing with dry autumn soil. Grab a pressure washer (at least 3000lbs of force) and use it to carve out your planting hole layer by layer. You'll get a bit muddy, and you'll have to bail out the hole, but it'll turn a brute-force job into quick work!
