Description
‘Overture’ quickly forms a wide spreading mound of attractive green foliage that is absolutely covered in flowers from late summer well into fall. Deep russet red flowers with a gold button center provide an awesome splash of color at a time when ornamental grasses are at their peak. The flowers age to terra cotta later in the fall.
Like the other members of the series, this hardy garden mum is bigger, better, and much more reliably hardy than standard gumball-shaped potted mums. It is a vigorous grower and will perform admirably in the landscape year after year.
