Position ‘New Hampshire Gold’ in full sun in a fertile, well drained soil, but it does tolerate a wide range of conditions. Prune judiciously to preserve its arching habit. It works well as a specimen, in mixed borders, or in groupings. Stems may be cut in late winter and brought indoors to force into bloom in a vase of water.
