In order to provide the highest quality plant material to our customers, Hoerr Nursery cultivates a thriving nursery production business located on several farms throughout Central Illinois. Our nursery and production enterprise includes hundreds of acres of field-grown plants and container-grown stock. Our team of nursery managers prides itself in clean fields, well trimmed stock and a diverse selection.

Hoerr Nursery also maintains about 30,000 square feet of indoor growing space. In spring, the greenhouses burst with all the delicious colors of the garden with over 5,000 geraniums, thousands of hanging baskets, mixed planters, specialty annuals and more. Fall yields beautiful garden mums in over 50 varieties and colors.

The perennials produced each year amount to over 100,000 pots, including over 600 varieties from the classics to the contemporary. Hoerr Nursery is known for an excellent selection of collector hostas and daylilies, as well as clematis, ornamental grasses, herbs, roses, water garden plants and more.
