Girls Night Out Fundraiser Event at Hoerr Nursery

Peoria, IL – Hoerr Nursery is hosting the sixth annual ‘Girls’ Night Out’ event on June 11, 2010 from 5 to 8pm at the Hoerr Nursery Garden Center. This year’s event has two unique twists from prior events: a new vacation theme, “Tropical Getaway,” and proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Women’s Fund of the Community Foundation of Central Illinois.

“Girls’ Night Out has always been a fun event for our customers and staff, this year we wanted to do something a little different,” said Dan Mulch, Marketing Director at Hoerr Nursery. “Even if it’s for one night, we want our guests to feel like they’re on a mini-vacation, ‘get-away’ – so we have a lot of pampering and fun activities planned from wine tasting to mini massages, and even a performance from the Peoria Ballet!”

Other activities include: cooking demonstration from Your Secret Chef, Bill More, a seminar on “Creating Your Own Backyard Getaway,” tropical hors d’oeuvres & fruit, pampering from local businesses, and door and raffle prizes including gift baskets from Maui Jim Sunglasses and a $200 Hoerr Nursery Gift Card.

Availability is limited for Girls Night Out: Tropical Getaway. Tickets are available for $25 each or $20 each if purchasing more than one. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Women’s Fund of the Community Foundation of Central Illinois.
