Hoerr Nursery Landscape Work Awarded Prestigious Orchid Award

Peoria, IL -- Peoria City Beautiful announced last week that Culvers by the Shoppes at Grand Prairie had received the prestigious Orchid Award for outstanding landscaping. Hoerr Nursery designed and installed the landscaping at the restaurant. It includes a waterfall and re-circulating pool, perennials, rock mulch, and other distinctive landscape features.

Sue Dewey, Executive Director of Peoria City Beautiful said, “The orchid award is our highest award for exceptional landscaping and site beautification. It’s great when companies invest in landscaping around their properties; it enhances the whole city.” For 2007, three businesses received the Orchid Award. Peoria City Beautiful is a non-profit local affiliate of the Keep America Beautiful Organization.
