April 17 and 18

Hoerr Nursery is hosting Barry Green II to speak on organic lawn care. Green, president of Jonathan Green, Inc will cover organic fertilization, seeding and ongoing care. The presentation is free and open to the public, Sat. April 18, 10 am, in the GardenHouse.

“Organic options are a great alternative for homeowners. Barry Green’s presentation features outstanding products; he’ll tell you what you need to know for organic lawn care,” said Dave Ploussard, Garden Center Manager. “In the Garden Center we’ll continue to have traditional, very effective chemical solutions and of course we offer Lawn Care services from Hoerr Nursery professionals. Everyone’s welcome to our great selection of talks and presentations from Thursday afternoon through Saturday for the GardenHouse Spring Opening. Even if the weather isn’t very spring-like, there are things you can do now—just coming out and enjoying the GardenHouse is one of them!”

Garden Plan Sketch Event!

Meet with a Hoerr Nursery Garden Professional to learn how to design and plant a small space in your garden or landscape—it’s the Garden Plan Sketch Event! There’s no charge, so register in person or by phone today for one of the 30 minute appointments. You are encouraged to bring printed photos and the measurements of the space. (Typically a space about 15’ x 15' or equivalent is ideal for this appointment.)
